What this covers
This policy explains how Everloom handles information connected to an account or LifeStory Vault, including the photos, videos, audio, voice notes, written stories, names, and invitations that customers choose to provide. It should be read with our Terms of Service and Trust & Storage page.
Information we receive
We may receive information you provide when you create an account, communicate with us, invite a family member, or add materials to a vault. This can include:
- Account details such as a name, email address, and sign-in information.
- Vault content such as media, captions, stories, timeline details, and other information you or an invited contributor choose to upload.
- Invitation details, including an invitee's name or email address, when you choose to invite them.
- Messages or requests you send to Everloom support.
How we use information
We may use information to operate and support the service, create and display your vault to the people you authorize, respond to questions, help protect accounts, investigate misuse, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information or vault content as part of this launch template.
Vault sharing and family invitations
Vault owners choose who to invite and are responsible for using current contact information and for having an appropriate basis to send an invitation. Invited people may be able to see or contribute the materials and details permitted by the vault owner. Do not invite someone to a private family vault unless you are comfortable sharing the relevant information with them.
When we may share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, when a customer directs us to share it with invited collaborators, when needed to protect the service or people's safety, or when we are legally required to do so. We do not promise that every disclosure scenario is listed here.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect account and vault information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure or available without interruption, so we cannot guarantee that content will never be lost, accessed without authorization, or unavailable.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the account and vault, meet legal or operational needs, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable terms. The exact retention and grace periods remain subject to founder and counsel confirmation.
Access, correction, deletion, and export requests
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about your account and vault data by emailing team@everloom-5rf.madethis.app. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Deletion may remove access for invited family members and may not immediately remove information from limited backups, legal records, or security logs.
Where export or download tools are available, you may use them. If they are not available, you may request help through the same email address. A request does not promise that a particular format, scope, feature, or timing is currently available.
Children
Everloom is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13 or knowingly submit a child's personal information without appropriate parent or legal guardian authorization. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information without authorization, contact us so we can review the request.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service develops. If we make material changes, we will use a reasonable method to provide notice before the change applies where appropriate. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to team@everloom-5rf.madethis.app.
